The public website provides information about Aristaios. It does not process online orders and honey is not shipped.
When you use the contact form, Aristaios processes your name, email address, subject and message in order to answer your question. The message is sent over an encrypted connection to the Aristaios mailbox and is not stored in the website database. It remains in the mailbox only for as long as necessary to answer your message and for any subsequent correspondence.
To limit abuse of the form, the website uses irreversible security hashes of the IP address and the email address provided. The original values are not stored in the database for this purpose. After 24 hours the hashes are no longer used; expired hashes are removed during a subsequent visit to the contact page.
A normal website visit may create technical server logs, such as the date, requested page and IP address. This information is needed for operation, security and the prevention of abuse.
The protected hive records and management environment can only be accessed after signing in. The website uses necessary session and security data for this purpose.
Payments take place in an external payment environment. Aristaios does not store bank or card details through this website.
