Aristaios.nl is the website of a small-scale apiary in Wijk bij Duurstede. The public pages provide information about the bees, the apiary, local honey and ways to get in touch.
The information on the website is published with care, but may change over time. This includes, for example, honey availability, payment information, forage information, texts, images and explanations about the bee colonies.
No online ordering
The payment page is intended to make an agreed payment easily. The website is not an online shop and does not constitute an automated online ordering system. Honey is not shipped. Availability, collection and payment are agreed personally.
Contact form
Anyone using the contact form provides their own name, email address, subject and message. This information is used to answer the question or message. Abuse, spam, technical attacks and the transmission of unlawful content are not permitted.
Protected hive-record environment
The hive-record environment can only be accessed after signing in. Users are responsible for using their account carefully and for keeping their login details confidential. Activity in the protected environment may be logged for security, abuse prevention and management purposes.
Data in hive records, apiaries, hives, inspections, notes, actions, treatments, photographs and settings is intended for the user’s own beekeeping records. External beekeepers can only use the functions relevant to them. Aristaios may restrict or withdraw access in the event of abuse, security risks or improper use.
Sign in with Google
When Google sign-in is available, an existing active user can sign in with a Google account. Google sign-in does not automatically grant a right of access. Only accounts known and authorised by Aristaios can be used.
The Google terms and privacy rules also apply to the authentication step. Aristaios uses the Google account details received solely to identify the user and sign them in securely.
Intellectual property
Texts, images, design, logos and other parts of this website belong to Aristaios or are used with permission or under an appropriate licence. Without prior permission, parts of the website may not be copied, reused or published, except for normal personal use or where permitted by law.
Liability
Aristaios makes every effort to keep the website secure, accessible and accurate, but cannot guarantee that it will always operate without errors or interruption. Use of the website is at the user’s own responsibility. Aristaios is not liable for damage caused by temporary unavailability, incorrect or outdated information, or misuse by third parties, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Changes
These terms may be amended when the website, the hive-record environment or the sign-in method changes. The latest version is always available on this page.
